Psalm 101

Psalm 101:1-8

101
Chapter 101
To David. A psalm. Lovingkindness and justice I will sing to you, O LORD; I will play skillfully. 1 I will give heed in the way of the blameless. When will you come to me? I will walk in the blamelessness of my heart in the midst of my house. 2 I will not set before my eyes a matter of worthlessness; I hate a doer of rebellions; it will not cling to me. 3 I will not set before my eyes a worthless thing; I hate the doing of adversaries—it will not cling to me. 4 A man of crookedness of heart and broad of heart, him I will not set aside from me; a man of evil in secret toward his neighbor, him I will not know. 5 My eyes are on the faithful of the land, to dwell with me; one who walks in a perfect way—he will serve me. Whoever slanders his companion in secret, him I will destroy; whoever has haughty eyes and a broad heart, him I will not endure. 6 No one who does violence will dwell in the midst of my house; one who speaks lies will not stand before my eyes. One faithful in the land, who walks in the way of the blameless—he will minister to me. 7 He will not dwell in the midst of my house, the one doing deceit; a speaker of lies will not be established before my eyes.
